Updated REBT Regulations
The updated Spanish electrical regulations (REBT) will introduce important changes that affect electrical panels. Type AC RCDs are being phased out in favour of type A or higher, which offer better protection against the pulsating DC leakage currents generated by modern electronics, inverters and EV chargers.
Additionally, surge protection will be mandatory for all new installations and major renovations. This protects your appliances and electronics from voltage spikes.
